Queen of Gir

An Asiatic lioness. A very rare specimen of Asiatic Lion. Their are believed to be about 150 in total of these rare lions left. All the wild ones known live in the Gir National Forrest in Gujarat India. They are carefully protected but the survival is far from sure.
If you wish to use this image for conservation you may do so with attribution. For other purpose you may license it. All fees will be donated to the support of the effort to protect the wonderful endangered animal.
